New: Garmin Vault Cloud Storage Saved videos are stored securely in the online Vault and can be accessed using the Garmin Drive™ app on your compatible smartphone (requires active Wi-Fi connection). Each video clip is saved in the Vault for 24 hours from the time of upload. No size limit to the amount of data stored. Additional extended storage plans are also available with a paid subscription. Protection When Parked Parking mode monitors your car’s surroundings while your car is parked, and the engine is not running. It automatically begins recording if motion is detected (requires Garmin parking mode cable, sold separately; professional installation recommended). You can even access the camera remotely for Live View monitoring (requires constant power and an active Wi-Fi connection; access via the Garmin Drive™ app on your compatible smartphone) when you’re away from your parked car. Convenient Connectivity Built-in Bluetooth technology and WiFi connectivity let you upload saved footage to your compatible smartphone running the Garmin Drive app. The Garmin Drive app is your convenient solution to view, edit and share your dashcam footage. If you use multiple Garmin dash cams to capture video in front of or behind your vehicle, the app uses Dash Cam Auto Sync to set up a network and sync recordings among the cameras. That way, if there is an incident, you can easily see the footage captured from multiple viewpoints. The app will also automatically combine and organize the media files so you can easily find and view them.
